Clouds of suspicion gather round Mark when his nasty plan for revenge on Nick works like a charm.

Nick's rushed to hospital and wakes from his coma with a fractured skull and spinal injuries. Roy arranges to meet Pat, but bottles out. Meanwhile, Martin tells Pauline that he is Chloe's father.

After a day on the warpath, Pauline takes matters into her own hands. Pat reels from Roy's unexpected decision. Terry and Janine advertise their new letting business venture.

Nick's injuries are more serious than he thought. Pauline and Martin head to the solicitors to see what can be done about Chloe. Joe falls into the pit at the Arches. Melanie tells Steve that she would like an engagement ring. Sonia declares to a new social worker that Pauline will not ruin Chloe's life.

Nick tells the physiotherapist to get lost. Charlie agrees to let Zoe go on holiday. Steve announces in the Vic that he and Melanie are to marry and produces a huge engagement ring. Ian gets a job in a pizza place. Melanie tells Laura she will lend her the money to buy the fish and chip shop.

Pauline is determined to keep Chloe. Little Mo is being badly treated by Trevor. Nick threatens Mark. Pat leaves Roy, and Phil tells Melanie he wants her.

It's Melanie's birthday, and Phil tells her that he is serious about her. Sonia finds out Pauline is taking her to court over custody of Chloe. Ashley seeks revenge on behalf of Nick.

Mark tells Ashley that Nick killed someone on the Square. Later, Nick asks Ashley if he'll help him get back at Mark. Phil watches a video of Ben and Lisa feels jealous.

Ian receives a letter from Kathy and winds Phil up about its contents. Nick's hold over Ashley is tested to breaking point. Lisa lashes out in frustration after Phil is reminded of his past.

Lisa suffers when Phil finds the destroyed tape and goes berserk. Nick urges Ashley to carry out his revenge. Janine walks out of her job in the café.

A visit to Chloe shows Martin the real meaning of fatherhood, Laura struggles to make a new start, and Peggy has some unexpected advice for Lisa.

Terry is horrified by Janine, and Phil reluctantly goes for a drink on his 40th birthday at Peggy's behest.

Jamie is troubled by Sonia's plans for Chloe. Sonia, Martin and Pauline are worried about the custody court case. Charlie tells Zoe the passport is sorted. Beppe worries about his son's parents evening.

On the day of the adoption hearing, Mark decides to force Martin into confronting his mother. Meanwhile, Mel is in an uncomfortable situation when Steve plans to tackle Phil.

As the Slaters celebrate Zoe's birthday, Kat unburdens a terrible secret. Meanwhile, Terry faces a ghost from his past when Janine decides to dress up for the night.

Terry, Kat and Jamie have some explaining to do following Zoe's party. Dot's benefit night for Nick isn't a success.

Jamie helps Sonia say goodbye to Chloe. Beppe is on edge after Jack is suspended. Phil threatens Garry and Barry. Lisa tells Mel that she loves Phil and wants a baby.

Melanie overhears Phil telling Peggy that he doesn't love Lisa, so decides to do something about it. Beppe is questioned by the police. Sonia and Jamie declare their love for each other.

Phil is on the alert after Lisa goes missing. Meanwhile, frustrated, Nick makes a decision about his future.

Zoe returns from holiday and is grounded. Lisa tells Mark about Melanie and Phil. Meanwhile, Roy and Peggy get closer after a few drinks.

Jamie writes an enormous card for Sonia for Valentine's Day. Ian discovers that Lisa is at Mark's but says he will keep quiet. Peggy leaves a message on Phil's answering machine to say she is off to Lanzarote. Garry takes Jamie's card and gives it to Lynne. Jamie is furious.

The Slaters are trying to work out who Kat's new man is. Beppe and Jack argue over Joe. Garry gives Zoe a driving lesson. Lisa tells the doctor that she is pregnant.

Barry is not amused as Pat returns to Albert Square. Meanwhile, Doctor Trueman tries to keep his relationship with Kat quiet.

Barry devises a dastardly plan which he hopes will determine his father's future, but Roy is having none of it. Mo tells a horrified Audrey whom her son is dating. Audrey confronts Anthony. Barry keeps Roy in the pub. Beppe picks up Pat. Roy finds out she's leaving and persuades her to stay.

Dot is annoyed because Jim forgot their date. Phil tells Mark that he can have Lisa. Zoe questions Janine and Terry's relationship. Lynne tells Kat she should get a job. Phil overhears and gives Kat a job in the Vic. Meanwhile, Dan is back on the Square.

It's Kat's first day at the Vic as Melanie's hen night is underway and Jim does a strip tease! After a tense stag night ruined by an unwelcome guest, Steve hears some news which threatens to change everything. Steve teases Billy that his mobile never rings. Billy rings himself from the office phone but Steve rumbles him and thinks he is very sad. Dan threatens Billy in E20.

It's Melanie and Steve's wedding day and everything comes to a head with the arrival of an unwelcome and an uninvited guest at the register office. Lisa is devastated when Phil tells Mark that she begged him to take her back. Dan shows up demanding money from Phil and, later, Phil and Ian fight in the street after Phil tells Ian that Melanie was not as good in bed as Kathy.

Phil's future hangs in the balance as the police ask questions.

Barry's plans to save Roy from himself backfire, while Kerry's mysterious visitor leaves Robbie devastated. Phil tells the police he does not know who shot him. Audrey tells Anthony to invite Kat for tea tomorrow.

Roy gives Barry an ultimatum. Kat has to watch what she says when she goes for tea with Anthony's mum. Jamie continues to worry about Phil. Janine holds a party where Kerry leaves with Darren. Jamie announces to the Vic customers that Phil has put him in charge of everything.

Peggy isn't happy at all with what she finds on her return to the Queen Vic, while Barry incurs Natalie's displeasure when he forgets a very important date.

Desperate for positive news about the identity of the gunman, Jamie approaches the police, but is aggravated by their patronising attitude and finally lashes out at Billy. Laura tries to help Beppe with Joe, but only provokes him further when he spots her talking to Sandra.

Joe is knocked over by a car. Dan offers Jamie 'protection' as he juggles the businesses. Peggy questions Billy about his black eye.

Jamie's trouble with Dan take a sinister turn for the worse. Accusations fly as Beppe, Sandra and Jack confront each other over custody of Joe. Jim suggest to Dot that they live together. Dot is against the idea as they are not married.

Jamie reveals the results of Dan's threats and Sonia puts their relationship at risk again. Jim lands himself in trouble trying to prove that Dot's new alarm is a waste of time.

Steve and Melanie return to the Square and get an explosive reception, and Terry is shaken by some bad news.

Audrey offers Barry a job as caretaker of the bed and breakfast. Dan threatens Jamie. Kat and Anthony are giggly and excited after lunch at the Ritz. Dan visits Phil in hospital. DCI Marsden arrests Steve.

Steve is questioned by the police. Billy blackmails Ian and Melanie tells Peggy to 'stuff her job'. Jamie tells Phil that it was Dan who beat him up.

Laura fears Ian is hiding something. Steve gives Melanie an ultimatum. Mark tries to question Ian.

Phil is determined that Lisa should not visit him in hospital. Billy is frightened at the thought of Mark shooting Phil.

Phil sneaks out of hospital and turns up on his assailant's doorstep. Laura is devastated when her suspicions about Ian seem to be confirmed

There's trouble as Phil confronts his assailant. Jamie's frantically worried about how far he'll go to get revenge. Meanwhile, Laura is horrified that Ian was the first to find Phil but he left him to die.

Jamie is stunned by the way Phil deals with Dan. Meanwhile, Mark wonders if Lisa can forgive herself for what she did to Phil.

Sonia is concerned that Jamie is gradually being drawn into Phil's world. Laura decides it is time to extract the truth from Ian.

Phil tries to ensnare Dan at Mitchell's Garage, while Laura convinces Ian to talk to the police. Melanie is baffled by Steve's behaviour, and Peggy is exasperated by Barry's incompetence.

The police question Dan. Ian has not been charged. Joe finds a woman in Beppe's bed. Peggy tells Barry he's been taking dodgy notes over the bar. Dan tells his brief to tell Phil that he's a dead man.

Little Mo faces a difficult choice. Janine gets a reprieve. Meanwhile, Peggy still has doubts about Barry's performance as the Vic.

Jamie tells Sonia to stop hassling him about the police. Trevor is on his best behaviour with Little Mo. Billy takes the vermouth off Barry. Laura's gran has died and she goes to visit her family for two weeks. Natalie resigns from her job. Peggy offers her and Barry the job of managing the Vic.

Little Mo's hopes of a contented marriage are dashed. Meanwhile, Anthony's brother, Paul, arrives in the Square.

Janine makes a desperate bid to replace the stolen money. Terry has started dreaming about Irene coming back. Audrey is not pleased to see Paul. Billy tracks Trevor down - he is with another woman. Anthony introduces Kat to his brother and Laura returns.

Billy decides to suggest to Little Mo that Trevor is up to something. Laura and lan's night has an unexpected ending.

Little Mo refuses to talk to Trevor and removes her wedding ring. Peggy's accountant has uncovered huge VAT payment irregularities. Natalie confesses to Melanie that she thinks she's pregnant and is less than thrilled. Barry finds the pregnancy kit and is over the moon. Peggy tells Barry and Natalie that she has to put the Vic up for sale. Ian and Laura have some good news for the kids.

After Natalie confirms that she is pregnant, Barry has to swallow his pride and seek Roy's help. Kathy cannot attend Ian and Laura's wedding but is going to pay for the entire family to have the honeymoon in South Africa. Meanwhile, Little Mo continues to put on a brave face.

Charlie is reunited with his brother at his party, but Little Mo faces a testing time. Jim lets slip the name of Robbie's father.

Laura introduces her parents to Ian, but they are shocked to learn of his past relationships. Melanie teaches Steve a lesson.

Laura tells Pat that her parents won't be attending the wedding. Ian ends up losing more than his dignity on his stag night. Laura has her hen party where Melanie tells Laura that Ian knows about her inheritance.

It's Ian and Laura's big day. Peggy gets a firm offer on the Vic. Pauline lets Robbie go to Brighton with the darts' team

When the darts team visits Brighton, Robbie takes a detour to Portsmouth on a desperate search for his father. Garry proposes to Lynne.

Kat's dreams of romantic fulfilment are shattered. Robbie's determined search for his father finally pays off.

Robbie finally tracks down his father but experiences a roller coaster of emotions when the reconciliation doesn't go as expected. Jamie struggles to deal with his guilty secret while Kat and Zoe have revenge on their minds.

Peggy, Natalie and Barry prepare to leave the Vic. Melanie suspects Steve of spoiling her job interview chances. Dot goes out with Jim. Terry has a blind date. Pauline dislikes working in a chip shop with Asif.

Peggy celebrates her departure from the Vic with a party. Janine wants to know why Terry won't tell her about the business deal. She believes he is going into business with someone else. Little Mo receives flowers from Trevor. Terry goes on a blind date - with Pauline.

Natalie and Barry search for new jobs. Lisa is unsure about going to her doctor's appointment. Nick is back and is not happy with Jim being around Dot. Meanwhile, the new owner of the Queen Vic shocks Peggy.

Peggy is horrified to find out Sharon is the new owner of the Vic. Lisa reveals to Melanie that she's pregnant. Mark tells Lisa he'll pretend to be the baby's father.

Barry accepts that he will have to confess to Natalie. Peggy's complaints about Sharon fall on deaf ears.

Sharon gets an unexpected visitor from her past and Mark has some shocking news for Pauline.

Jamie is caught in the fall out between Sonia and Zoe. Nick delights in announcing the news of Lisa's baby.

Lisa becomes aware of wagging tongues in Albert Square. Jamie tries to apologise to Sonia for walking out on her last night.

Natalie becomes convinced that Barry is having an affair. Sharon confronts Ross about his secret phone calls. Meanwhile, Zoe asks Jamie if he told Sonia that they slept together.

Nick forces Mark to take drastic action. Sharon makes a confession to Ross, and Melanie's big night doesn't go to plan.

Nick plots a violent end to his conflict with Mark. Paul threatens to reveal a secret about Anthony.

Nick and Ashley reconcile. Roy, Steve and Phil play poker and there's a surprise for Roy. An argument with Mark ends in tragedy for Ashley. Meanwhile, Sharon learns of Ross' past flings.

Mark is distressed by the events running up to the incident and resulting in Ashley's death. Dot is trying to come to terms with the accident and Nick has gone into his shell.

Nick expresses his grief in the only way he can, and Janine is aghast when Terry takes a liking to new client Margaret.

It's the day of Ashley's funeral. Janine finds out Terry fancies tenant Margaret. Paul steals money from his mother. Sharon calls it a day with Ross. Dot confronts Nick and banishes him from her life.

Dot takes a turn for the worse as she struggles to cope with her grief. Mark and Lisa are in an embarrassing predicament.

Anthony tries to sort out the problems between Paul and their mother, and buys back the clock. Jim is distraught when Dot disappears and he realises he cannot cope. Later, Anthony finds Paul badly bruised and beaten.

Jim and Pauline draw up a rota of helpers to look after Dot. Paul tries to do a deal with Angel, but he gives him a week to find the money he owes them. Meanwhile, Laura begins to think Ted has done a runner with her money.

Janine tries to sabotage Terry's date with Margaret. Sharon visits her silent partner with new plans for the Vic.

An evening out ends in disaster for Mark, while Anthony's brother Paul refuses to relax his demands. Terry's night with Margaret is a success - despite Janine's efforts.

Mark's health scare forces him to reconsider his future with Lisa, while Jamie is torn between Sonia and Zoe.

There's a surprise for the Slaters behind the bar of the Vic. Lynne and Garry meet the Reverend. Janine is not impressed by Margaret hanging around Terry.

Dan insists on a one-to-one confrontation with Phil, while a frantic Steve waits with police outside his flat.

Steve despairs when he discovers that he may not be able to claim back the insurance money for the E20. Jim makes a promise to Dot that he's not sure he can fulfil. Meanwhile, Peggy avoids Harry and Billy steals booze from the Minute Mart.

Janine finds some ammunition to use against Margaret, as she sees her kissing a man. Peggy gives Harry her decision - she won't be going to Spain with him. Meanwhile, it's the moment of truth for Sonia, Martin and Asif as they receive their exam results.

Janine tells Terry about seeing Margaret kissing another man. Terry demands the truth from Margaret. Margaret explains to Terry about her dying brother. Kat makes a shocking discovery about Trevor. She overhears him on the phone to Donna who is having his baby and wants him there as a father. Meanwhile, Peggy and Harry's relationship takes a decisive and divisive turn and Dot has a rash from Paul's perfume.

Peggy tells Sharon that she's staying in Walford. Meanwhile, hurt by Margaret's departure, Terry takes out his anger on an unsuspecting Janine and demands that she must leave the flat by the end of the week.

Trevor makes some promises to Little Mo. She is crushed when she finds out that Trevor's going to be a dad as Donna's pregnant. Meanwhile, Lynne discovers Garry's plans for their honeymoon.

Sharon is shocked to find Peggy at the helm in the Vic. It's Barry's 40th birthday much to his dismay. Trevor is anxious as Little Mo didn't spend the night at home.

Phil has a difficult decision to make about his future. Pat is concerned for Janine and says she should report the men who attacked her. Garry does not post the wedding invitations. Garry asks Mark to be his best man.

Peggy and Phil's relationship reaches crisis point. Anthony forgets Audrey's birthday. Pauline hassles Martin about college courses. Garry's wedding invites end up in the skip.

Problems in the Trueman household reach a dramatic and devastating conclusion. Garry's indecision puts his wedding in jeopardy and Lisa worries about the secrecy around her pregnancy.

Steve has to take swift action to avoid disaster - after realising that he has been double-crossed by Jan, he sets out to find her. Martin and Asif are forced to grow up fast.

Sharon offers to organise a leaving do for Peggy in the Vic. Janine returns to the Square causing trouble for Pat and Roy.

Patrick, Paul and Anthony anxiously await the outcome of Audrey's will. Charlie and Harry reminisce about their youth. Meanwhile, Jamie is seen kissing Zoe.

Patrick has startling news for Paul about his mother. The opening of the night café is shortly lived. Zoe is upset by Jamie.

Zoe makes a big decision as Peggy's leaving party gets underway at the Vic.

Zoe has some shocking news for Charlie, concerning Harry, as Kat struggles with the fall out. The rest of the hen party are finishing up in the restaurant and having put Belinda, much the worse for wear, in a cab are pondering their next move.

The Slaters are determined to keep their secret. Peggy is left heartbroken after Harry has left without her. Lynne decides to postpone the wedding.

As the Square reels in the aftermath of Harry's departure, trouble is brewing among the guests at the B&B.

There's friction at the Vic when Phil attempts to persuade Sharon to allow Peggy to move in. Sharon's fears about Phil threaten their relationship. Meanwhile, Patrick takes drastic measures to get rid of Paul's friends, Jim's in the dog house with Dot and Laura has an unwelcome visitor.

Feeling suffocated, and wondering if her relationship with Zoe will ever recover, Kat confides in Doctor Trueman. Zoe slaps Kat. It's Janine's eighteenth birthday. Laura won't let Steven keep Mr Davis' computer. Trevor burns Little Mo with an iron.

Laura turns to her friends for advice as the pressure mounts from Mr Davis. Trevor continues to torment Little Mo.

On Halloween night, E20 is back in business, but Beppe's latest affair lands him in trouble. Dot hasn't been home. Charlie's been out looking for Zoe. Dot leaves Jim lost for words.

Dire consequences result when Charlie makes his move against Trevor. After speaking to Little Mo, Billy confronts Trevor. Beppe visits the doctor and discovers error of his free and easy attitude to women.

Tension mounts as Lisa and Mark await their new arrival. A worried Beppe discovers the results of his HIV test.

Phil takes Lisa to the hospital. Kat has words with Little Mo at the bonfire but Little Mo sides with Trevor. Trevor tells Little Mo he will apologise to Kat but insults her instead. Phil comforts Lisa through the birth. Sharon is shocked when Lisa admits to her that Phil is the father.

Mark is taken aback by Lisa's confession, and Dot takes a reluctant Jim to pay his respects to his wife.

Beppe threatens Garry and Lynne's relationship, Ian gets unwelcome news, and Mark and Lisa introduce their baby.

Garry attempts to placate Lynne and persuades Beppe to act as go-between. Billy is upset that Janine broke up their relationship. Peggy nearly faints. Melanie returns to the Square. Lisa and Mark choose Sharon and Melanie as godparents. Patrick frightens off potential buyers for the bed and breakfast. Ian meets with Mrs Davis who shows him evidence of Laura's affair. Ian throws Laura out.

Kat arrives home on a milk float swigging champagne. After a tortuous day, Steve finally catches up with his past. Nathan arrives looking for Evans Cars. Sharon reveals that she can't have kids. Kat is angry Beppe knows her business. Ian and Laura make up. Natalie has a go at Ian. Charlie has to separate Lynne and Kat.

Paul tries to come to terms with Patrick's illness, while Garry finds himself in the clutches of Kat.

Kat and Garry have some explaining to do. Anthony receives a letter that has repercussions for all the Trueman family.

Plans for the christening get under way, Garry makes a sacrifice and Charlie receives some welcome news.

Lisa is concerned that her secret has been overheard. Meanwhile, Mark is hurt when he finds out Pauline will not attend the christening. Billy is furious with Garry and Charlie.

Shocks are in store for Roy and Phil - and with secrets laid bare, the christening is the last thing on Lisa's mind.

Roy comes to realise that his life is about to change for ever. Garry has booked the registry office for next week. Beppe tells Lynne that she should not marry Garry. Roy refuses to believe that Nathan is his son. Roy meets Jane and confirms that Nathan is his son. Meanwhile, Martin and Asif discover that Pauline is starring in a play.

Robbie goes on a date, Jamie has a proposal for Sonia.

Trouble looms as Melanie and Ian prepare for their grand opening. Pauline ropes Robbie into panto. Meanwhile, Garry and Lynne have decisions to make about where to live after the honeymoon.

Melanie and Ian are forced to resort to desperate measures. Nita teases Robbie about the panto. Phil offers Jamie some overtime at the Arches.

As the wedding day nears, Kat exacerbates Lynne's anxiety. Charlie tries to persuade Little Mo to attend the wedding. Roy visits Jane again.

Tension mounts between Trevor and Little Mo. Barry feels that Roy is keeping him in the dark. Meanwhile, the panto rehearsal is under way at the community centre

Lynne has an eleventh hour confession to make as the wedding approaches. Steve offers Beppe words of wisdom.

Roy receives sage advice from Jane. Meanwhile, Lynne makes a life-changing choice.

Barry wonders what Roy is up to. Sharon and Phil babysit Louise. Mark regrets persuading Lisa to have a night out. Kat refuses to listen to Little Mo and searches for Zoe in vain.

Trevor tells Little Mo she must not contact her family. Little Mo makes a note of the café where she saw Zoe and passes it to Pauline to give to Kat. The doctor tells Mark and Lisa that Louise's condition is getting worse and they are moving her to intensive care.

Phil realises there's more to Sharon's grief than meets the eye. Jim is still missing Dot, whilst Robbie and Pauline find out there's some last minute changes to the panto.

Mark tries to stop Lisa from telling the truth to Phil. Dot returns from Scotland. Meanwhile, the doctor tells Mark and Lisa that Louise may die. Sharon tells Phil that she did not take antibiotics after an abortion and got an infection. This affects her chances of having children. Sharon is forced to admit to Phil that Grant was the father of her baby. Phil storms out.

Following her revelation, Sharon finds Phil's moods impossible to bear. Jim seeks the key to Dorothy's heart.

It's the panto's opening night and tensions run high. Steve gives the house keys to Melanie. Later, Jim goes back to Dot's.

Sharon and Phil make a decision about the future. Terry says that Terence the dog must go to the rescue centre. Meanwhile, Kelly tries to persuade Zoe to return home. Sharon and Phil decide to adopt, but Peggy is not pleased.

Zoe finds herself in a frightening situation. Phil has a shocking proposal for Sharon. Jim declares his feelings

Steve is intrigued when Melanie says she wants to talk. Meanwhile, Dot begins to wonder if Jim is having second thoughts, and Sharon is feeling cornered.

Mark asks Lisa to marry him on his daughter's first Christmas. However Lisa has something to tell both him and Phil.

Phil's day gets even worse. Roy tries to keep everyone happy. Trevor loses his temper with little Mo.

Another rift develops in the Slater family as Little Mo refuses to believe the revelation. Kat makes an unwanted discovery.

Pat thinks she's in for a birthday surprise. Barry's worst fears are confirmed and Phil makes unreasonable demands.

As the new year's celebrations get underway, and while Mark and Lisa have to contend with Phil's new interest in Louise they can also make a decision about their future.
